aiGUST is a fintech startup, based in Leuven. We are founded and backed by 6 major players in the Belgian accountancy and tax market. Our clients are accountancy and tax firms in Belgium. 

We are building a multi-tenant SaaS platform that provides accountants with benchmarks, predictive analytics, statistics and visual insights to help them give better advice to their SME customers. We believe data are the foundation to better understand and manage companies and that AI can assist accountants in providing more accurate advise with less effort. By creating a large data community we believe we can even go a step further.

About the job

We need to collect data from a lot of different systems and public information sources. As an integration / data engineer your job is to build the necessary data pipelines to retrieve all this data and manipulate it in different steps to get to a format that is ready for further analysis or visualisation. All this, to help us make a real impact on the performance of Belgian SME companies.

You will be:

  • Connecting to external systems using api's, event queues or other means
  • Implementing cloud security
  • Implementing, orchestrating and maintaining data transformation flows
  • Monitoring the health of data transformation systems

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a master degree or equivalent by experience with a background in computer science, (data) engineering… We like analytical, but hands-on people with a curious nature!
